Happy Halloween!!!

Happy October 31st everyone! We went to our church Halloween Trunk-or-Treat last night where the kids had a blast sporting their costumes, playing games and getting lots of candy. Halloween is so much fun!!! I went ahead and dressed up in orange and black for the occasion...here's my take on "Halloween chic":

Details:
-Polka Dot Tank and Cardigan-Loft
-Rock star Skinny Jeans-Old Navy
-Boots-Urban Outfitters
-Necklace-Loft
-Earrings-Nordstrom
-Ring-OLD

I love this top...it can be paired with so many colors. It's super versatile! I bought these jeans for $19 a few months back and this is the first time I've worn them. They run pretty tight so I had to size up one size. I actually really like them! They have a good amount of stretch to them and are really comfortable. They're perfect to pair with boots.

Speaking of boots...these boots were not my friend yesterday when I was coming out of the mall after returning a few things. It was raining and I was walking as fast as I could without running, and all of a sudden I slipped and came down onto my knee, a hand, and my ankle. I heard a crack when my ankle twisted...OUCH! I ended up going to get an x-ray last night and thankfully it's not broken...just a bad sprain. So I'll be hobbling around for a while which is no fun. Hopefully it'll heal up fast. I had planned on running a 10K on Thanksgiving morning so we'll have to see how I'm feeling by then. Crossing my fingers!!! In the meantime I get to figure out how I can style around this awesome white wrap around my ankle...super fun!

Hope everyone has a great Halloween and enjoys lots of treats, not tricks!! =)

  3. Super cute outfit! I love the color of the cardigan. I would have grabbed one for sure if they had made it in my size. :) I'm so sorry for your ankle. Sounds like you are going to wobble around for a while. Try taking pictures sitting down now. Hope you feel better soon.

  4. Oh no - I'm sorry about your sprained ankle, that is not going to be easy with 3 boys! Hang in there while it heals and don't push it with your running missy ;) Love your orange and black dots together - the perfect outfit for TOT. Happy Halloween!

  5. So sorry to hear about your sprain. Hope you are feeling better already :)
Cute outfit as always! I knew I should have gotten that dotted top but I had the pale pink already, so I passed. Now I'm thinking of all these outfits I could have created with it, and wish I hadn't passed.

  8. Ooooouch, I hope your ankle is healing quickly and feeling better! It's good that it's not broken or twisted, though, that'd be horrible! I think your Halloween outfit is amazing, though, and I love the homage to orange and black!

  9. Eek, sorry about your sprained ankle! The things we do for fashion sometimes, hm? I've certainly taken my share of diggers; hope you heal up soon!

  11. Love the Urban boots - I'm ordering some for myself. I saw on one sit that they recommended going down a size because they run big. Did you order your regular size, and how do they fit?? Thanks!
