Anthropologie Fitting Room Reviews

A few weeks ago I headed to the mall to browse through Anthropologie's latest offerings. Ok, maybe it's been like 3 weeks...it was before I got my hair cut and colored as you can tell by my lovely roots...lol.  It's been quite a while since I've gone into their store to try things on so it was like walking into a completely brand new set of items.  My store is on the smaller side and doesn't carry everything I see online so I wasn't able to try everything I was hoping to but I did find a handful of things I've had my eye on.

For reference I am 5' 6" tall and I typically wear a size 25/26 (0/2) in jeans and X-Small or Small (0/2) in tops and dresses. I do have a very long torso so sometimes things will run very short on me when it would be a perfectly normal length on others.

Onto the reviews!!!

Stripes and floral mixed together...you know I had to try this one! I really liked this cute top and think it is a perfect transition top for spring!  I tried this on in a size X-Small and it fit perfectly. I loved the colors and the length was perfect..it's almost what I would consider tunic length. I was THIS close to bringing this top home with me but put it back since I was getting a few other things already. It's definitely on my wish list though!

This top was one I really wanted to try on because the colors were so striking online! I knew it was going to be a little short on me (front length listed at only 23.5") but I had to try regardless. I tried this on in a size 0 and the fit was good. I also tried a size 2 and it was super baggy on me so I would say go true to size if you have a  larger chest or size down if not. It's a high-low hem so the back was definitely longer which I liked. The top is semi-sheer so an under layer is necessary which I didn't mind because I could use another layer for length anyways. The colors are every bit as fun in person and I loved the top.  I will watch this one for sale and re-evaluate at that time.

I tried this top on in a size 0 and 2 and found I liked the fit of the 0 better.  It was just a tad more fitted--minimal difference to be honest as you can see. (Above--all are size 2 except maroon which is size 0).  I tried the Eva top on in almost every color they had to see which I liked best. I love this crossover style top and think it's going to be huge this spring/summer! In the end the maroon color was calling my name and I took this one home with me.

I tried this floral kimono cardigan on in a size X-Small and found it to be true to size. That being said I didn't think it was flattering on me at all. I often struggle to find dolman sleeve items that fit me well so this wasn't a surprise. The print is super cute but the colors could have been a bit more vibrant I thought. It kind of fell flat for me. Overall a solid pass.

I tried this top on in a size 0 and the fit was good. It wasn't too fitted and not too loose...just right. I grabbed the pink motif which is a very soft shade of ballet pink...such a great color for spring! I really liked the way this top fit and fell...it was very comfortable. It would be a very versatile top as you could wear it with jeans or tucked into a skirt. I'm wish listing this top and keeping my eye on it!

If you've been following me for a bit you've already seen me wear this cute dress. It was my golden find of the night! Even better...I had a gift card from Christmas to cover a part of it...score!  I tried this on in a size 2 and it fit like a glove...I fell in love with it immediately! I even texted my friends a picture of it...they agreed it needed to come home with me.  They're good friends. =) The fabric flows so well and is totally packable which made it even better.  I couldn't help but bring this home with me that night and honestly I'm so glad I did...it was perfect for NYFW!!

So what do you think? Have your eye on any of these ? What are you crushing on at Anthropologie lately? I'd love to hear!!

xoxo,
Jenni
