Spring Breakin' It

This Spring break week has been lots of fun so far...I always love a break from our normal routine.  Does anyone else always feel like they're racing a clock every minute of their day?  I totally do, so when we can make our own schedule, I love it.  I was able to sneak away yesterday for lunch and shopping with my BFF and we had a blast, sans kids (thanks to their favorite babysitter).  We spent about 3 hours at Anthropologie, browsing, trying things on, doing our returns, and making a few purchases as well.   I'll have some fitting room reviews for you soon!  It was a successful try-on session...I found lots to things to add to my wish list.

I finally uploaded my pictures from our Disney trip last week so I thought I'd share a few outfit shots I took...I pretty much stuck to the Polyvore set I had created for the week which was so helpful when I was packing.  Instead of typing out all the items in each outfit, you can find the complete lists HERE if you're interested.

Day 1--Disneyland:

Day 2--California Adventure:
(this photo was taken around 10pm that night...hence the worn-out look and terrible lighting!)

Day 3--Disneyland and California Adventure:

Overall my outfit choices worked out really good.  On the last day, I ended up wearing flats during the day since it was on the warmer side and changing into boots at night when it got cold (I stashed them in a locker with our coats during the day).  We decided to be party animals that last night and stayed at the park until almost midnight.  It was so much fun, but we were EXHAUSTED when we got back to the hotel.  It's all about the memories though...loved it!

I'll throw one more outfit photo in since I never posted this before I left on our trip...

What I Wore:
Grand Ruffle Shell-J Crew
Loop Stack Cardigan-Anthropologie
Always Skinny Cords-Gap
Miz Mooz "Siri" Knee-High Boots-Endless
Necklace-Fossil
Clepsydra Hoops-Anthropologie
Bracelets-Tiffany
Ring-catalog sale

I wore this the day before we left for LA when I did a little pre-trip shopping at Gap.

So did you do any sale shopping at Anthro this week?  The Beechcombing Bracelet that I have been lusting after for months FINALLY went on sale so I scooped it right up.  I'm hoping it fits well and isn't too wide on my wrist.  I also grabbed THESE because I realized they were an online only item and were almost sold out (and now are actually sold out...phew!) and THIS like I had planned on, in pink.  Can't wait to get these fun items...I love good mail days!

Stay tuned for what I picked up in-store after doing a few returns and exchanges (keeping the budget in mind, no worries) and fitting room reviews.

Enjoy your day!

    1. Oh my gosh, you are so sweet! Yes, CA is a great place to be...I have loved being here. As for my workout routine...I workout three times a week...I run/cycle 3 days a week and try to lift weights twice a week. Lately I haven't been great at the lifting part of it all as I've had to adjust my routine from an injury.
