There is something about stripes that just draws me in. I've owned so many clothing items with stripes in the past and have a ton of them currently hanging in my closet so you'd think I was all stocked up...however there always seems to be room for just one more striped top, skirt, or in this case, dress. I fell in love with this cute shift dress from ASOS and have a feeling it will be a new wardrobe staple (for reference I took this in a size X-Small). I love the ease and simplicity that shift dresses offer and the fact that this one was knee-length was perfect. And holy cow, there are so many ways to style it! The first way that came to mind was with a great statement sandal and patterned clutch...the perfect look for a warm weather date night! 

And can we just pause for a second and talk about how these sandals are pretty much the most perfect brown/cognac colored open toe sandals I've ever seen?!! What makes them even better is how comfortable they are...no joke! I would recommend sizing down in these lovelies...I normally wear size 8.5 in most shoes and in these I took a size 8.  

And then there's the clutch.  When I was headed to New York Fashion Week a few months back my friend asked if I had a patterned clutch she could borrow and guess what?!  I didn't have a single one! How on earth could this be? ME! The girl who is all about pattern and color! I placed it on my mental shopping list and when I found this absolutely darling clutch at ASOS for under $40 I couldn't pass it up!  So now if you need to borrow a patterned clutch dear friends, you know who to ask.  I happen to love this clutch...such great colors for spring and summer! And honesty, I would totally rock it in fall too. No shame. The cool weather months can always use a burst of pattern and color.

So there you go...the perfect shift dress. And a few fun accessories to go with it. Now I just need a date night with the hubby! I'm all set! =)
