Introducing...Piper Street

I've been dying to tell you about my latest project and am so excited to finally spill the beans!  Let me introduce you to my latest adventure:

A friend of mine and I decided to start our own online women's clothing boutique and today is our official grand opening!!!!  I've always loved fashion.  It's something I'm passionate about and have a lot of fun with.  The shop is an extension of that passion and seeing it come to life has been amazing!  The goal for our shop is to always find items we'd love to have in our own closets and would want to wear in constant rotation.  If we wouldn't wear it, we won't stand behind it.  It's been such a crazy, busy, heavily sleep-deprived time of life but I've loved every second.  Piper Street truly is a place to find unique and inspiring clothing.

Here's a few of my favorite items in the shop right now:

Oh, that print!!!

These colors are simply amazing!!!

I've never met a stripe I didn't love and this is no exception!

Simple elegance.  Done.

These wrap dresses are a staple in our shop right now.  They are classic, yet modern, and are soooo figure friendly!  You can't ask for a better look!

Here's a few other items you'll see in stock soon:

I am in love with this top...the colors and pattern are a perfect match!

Classic, yet trendy wrapped up into one...this top is gorgeous!

"Andie"

I am dying to try out some faux leather pants this fall/winter...these are exactly what I was looking for!!!

See anything you like? What would you like to see more of?  I'd love to hear!

This is just a glimpse of what Piper Street has to offer.  We are so excited to bring you fantastic clothes for amazing prices and look forward to helping you stock your closet full of goodies!!!  We also added a few Plus size dress options last night so women of all sizes have the opportunity to look fab!  Head on over to Piper Street right now to grab your favorites while they're still in stock. We'll be adding new items to the store all the time so check back often!

Army Green with Ruffles...and the latest Anthropologie Sale!

Happy Wednesday (aka the first day it's snowed in Ohio this fall).  That's right...it's snowing as I type!  It's sporadic and not sticking or anything,  but it is falling.  I'm already afraid for what's ahead this winter!

I have been so into layering lately and wearing jackets has been one of my favorite ways to do that.  This jacket is darling...I forgot to snap a picture of it from the back, but there are ruffles down the back...I love it!!   I love that extra special touch of something that sets it apart from other army green jackets I've seen.

What I Wore: Mesilla Peasant Blouse

Happy Monday!

It's gonna be a cold week...fall is in full swing!

Last Friday I stopped in at Anthropologie to make a few returns.  My store didn't have a ton of new things in I hadn't already seen so I didn't try much on.  I did snap a quick picture of what I was wearing though:

An all-day look

Happy Monday!

Hope you had a great weekend!  We finally made it to the pumpkin patch to get our pumpkins for the front porch and decorated around the house for fall...bring on Halloween!!!

Last Thursday I had a busy schedule and a few different places to go.  I needed an outfit that could get me from breakfast, to running errands, to the outlets for a little shopping, to a doctor appointment, to after-school practices to a baby shower.  This maxi dress was the perfect solution:

My Target Fall Fashion Finds--reviews included!

About once a month I like to head to the women's clothing section at Target to see what their latest releases are.  Some months I find very little I like and others I find a handful of great things.  This happened to be a month of many finds!

Here's what made the cut and found it's way into my closet:

I am a sucker for a great cardigan and this one is awesome!  The amazing color of this cardigan is what caught my eye.  It's a beautiful orangish-golden yellow that will go with so many things!  I took this in an x-small and it fit great.  It's a mid-to-heavier weight sweater and will be so perfect for all the cold winter days ahead.  It's sometimes tricky to find a chunky sweater that falls nicely in the front but this one really does.  It's very figure flattering.  And it's only $29.99!  Score!

I tried this on in an x-small and a small and liked the fit of the Small best (size small is pictured above).  It had a bit more length and wasn't as body hugging.   I took the yellow motif in the dressing room with me to try on but ended up deciding to get the cobalt blue in the end.  I liked the cute zipper detail near the neckline and the colorblocking on the shoulders and hem...it spices up a basic tee quite a bit.  This was only $14.99...such a great price!

I first saw this cute top on Lilly's Blog...she looked so cute in it!  I was immediately drawn to the amazing colors and the leather detail on the shoulder.  It's just a little something different that anything else I own which I love.  I'm always looking for something different to add to my closet!  I tried it on in both an x-small and a small and the small is what I liked best (pictured above).  I found the x-small to be a tad tight through the shoulders and borderline short on my long torso.  The small is a bit more billowy but not overwhelming.  I think this top will be so cute paired with denim, black pants, or a sleek black leather (or look-a-like leather) skirt.  I've mentally added that to my wish list now.  It's a great price point at just $24.99 too...love that!  I can't wait to wear this on a date night!

The one other item I found that I thought was cute was this coat:

I tried this on in a size small and found it to be a bit roomy and long in the arms.  I think I would want to go with an x-small if I were to purchase it.  I really loved the cute pattern and the fact that it has a hood that wasn't super bulky.  It is definitely not what I would consider a super heavy coat, but it's a cute option for a mid-weight coat.  And it's only $39.99...can't beat that!  I passed on it for now but may grab it in the future.

Have you found any great things at Target lately?  Have you added any of their latest offerings to your closet?  I'd love to hear!!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Scallops Galore and a sneak peek at some fall finds from Target!

Happy Thursday!

Just a quick post this morning...hubby has the day off and we're heading to breakfast with our youngest. He's just a little excited to be the center of attention for the day. =)

One recent Sunday morning when getting dressed for church I pulled out my Solid Scalloped Blouse to pair with a skirt.  When I held it up to this plum colored skirt it was a match made in color heaven.  Then I noticed they both had scallops...double score!  You can never have too much of a good thing, am I right?!

Original Polyvore set for this look can be found HERE

Pattern on Pattern and yesterday's Anthropologie sale

Happy Tuesday!

Did you happen to see the big sale Anthropologie brought us yesterday??  I love a good sale!  Here's what I scooped up:

Swizzle Stripe Tunic

One of my favorite tops, the Solid Scalloped Blouse also went on sale...I can't recommend this one enough!  I have it in yellow and it's such a great top.

Did you pick anything up?

Today I wanted to share an outfit I recently wore that involved a little pattern mixing.  I grabbed this cute navy and white polka dot cardi from J Crew Factory on E-bay awhile back and absolutely love it.  Small polka dots are perfect to mix with a larger print.

Original Polyvore set for this look can be found HERE

Polka Dot "Clare" Cardi-J Crew Factory (via E-bay)
Tie-Back Tank-Anthropologie
AG Stevie Ankle Denim-Anthropologie
Steve Madden "Marvilis" Wedge Sandals
Kulfi Strands Necklace-Anthropologie
Elench Dollop Hoop Earrings-Anthropologie
Bracelet-J Crew Factory
Flower Bud Ring-J Crew

Are you a pattern mixer?  If you haven't tried it, go for it!  Like I said, I think the easiest way to do it is to mix a small print with a bigger one.

Have a great day!
