Pattern on Pattern and yesterday's Anthropologie sale

Happy Tuesday!

Did you happen to see the big sale Anthropologie brought us yesterday??  I love a good sale!  Here's what I scooped up:

Swizzle Stripe Tunic

One of my favorite tops, the Solid Scalloped Blouse also went on sale...I can't recommend this one enough!  I have it in yellow and it's such a great top.

Did you pick anything up?

Today I wanted to share an outfit I recently wore that involved a little pattern mixing.  I grabbed this cute navy and white polka dot cardi from J Crew Factory on E-bay awhile back and absolutely love it.  Small polka dots are perfect to mix with a larger print.

Original Polyvore set for this look can be found HERE

Polka Dot "Clare" Cardi-J Crew Factory (via E-bay)
Tie-Back Tank-Anthropologie
AG Stevie Ankle Denim-Anthropologie
Steve Madden "Marvilis" Wedge Sandals
Kulfi Strands Necklace-Anthropologie
Elench Dollop Hoop Earrings-Anthropologie
Bracelet-J Crew Factory
Flower Bud Ring-J Crew

Are you a pattern mixer?  If you haven't tried it, go for it!  Like I said, I think the easiest way to do it is to mix a small print with a bigger one.

Have a great day!

  1. Every Anthro sale day, I only look at my saved items in my shopping basket to see if any of them have been reduced in price... otherwise I get way too carried away! ;) That polka dot cardigan is awesome!

  6. What size did you get in the blouse? It does not come xs, s, etc. but numbered sizes. Not sure what to order when ordering online and can't try it on! Kellie

    1. Hi Kellie! I tried this on in a size 0 and a size 2 and went with the size 2 because the size 0 was a little tight through the shoulders. Hope that helps!
