Cardigans are a girl's best friend

First up, have you entered my Valentine's Day giveaway?  A $50 gift card to Shabby Apple could be all yours!  The giveaway will be open until Sunday, February 10th at 11:59pm EST so enter today!!!

****************

Do you pack up your summer clothes during the winter so only your winter clothes remain?  I don't.  I keep everything in y closet all year-long.  I've never really looked at an item and thought "You're only for summer" or "Can't wear that now...it's winter".  The few exceptions would be sandals in the winter and tweed skirts in the summer.  Those are pretty much no-go's for me.  Other than that though, I say everything is fair game year-round.  I get so much more out of my closet that way!

Take for instance this top I'm wearing below...it's short sleeved and pretty springy with the bright floral print.  At first one may think it's great for the warm weather months but I think it's perfect for January or February too...with a cardigan, of course!

Whoever invented cardigans was a genius.  Thank you to whomever came up with that idea...you're allowing women everywhere to get more out of their closet year-round!  =)

Are you a cardigan girl?  Do you collect them like me?  What's your favorite cardigan in your closet?

  4. One reason I love cardis so much is because not only can switch your wardobe around but they can also be very forgiving. They can hide unwanted rolls that tend to pop up. :/ Plus I'm not the biggest fan of my arms. Thank you cardis!

  11. I totally have a teacher cardigan collection. Winter ones, summer ones, print ones, cropped ones, slubby ones. But they go with everything! Over dresses, over tees/tanks, over henleys. And they always make a top more work appropriate too :)

  12. So fashion opinion question for you...

I have this to-die-for summer dress that I bought at the end of the season last year. It's white with a fun, bold paisley print. I live in Wisconsin so it's COLD but I've been thinking about wearing it with black tights, boots, and a warm belted cardigan. Thoughts on the whole white in the winter thing??

  15. I think boots, skinny jeans, top and cardi are my mommy wardrobe staples these days. I have a coral cardi from LOFT that I love. BTW, I discovered a new accessory store near me. It is called Versona, http://www.versonaaccessories.com/. I have seen so many Anthro knock-offs there lately. Considering your love for statement jewelry, I thought you would like them. Hope there is one near you!

  16. I may or may not have a small obsession with cardigans. I literally own 10 different colors AND have my eyes peeled on ebay (via my saved search that emails me daily!!) for more color options. I probably wear one 4-5 times per week between September and May! :)
