Style It: Molded & Melded Tee

Hi all!

Happy Wednesday to you!  Half-way through the week...yay!

Time for another round of "Style It"...where I pull an item out of my closet I haven't worn for a while and bring it back to life with a whole new look!  I decided to bring out my green Molded & Melded Tee I got as a gift from my bestie a few years back.

I love the color and the neckline...but it's one of those tops I always wear with a cardigan with to keep covered up...the neckline dips a bit too low on me on the sides.  I happened to pick up the perfect cardigan to go with it a few months back (on sale, even better!) and came up with this look:

Original Polyvore set for this look can be found HERE

Here's a few more looks I plan to wear using the green Molded & Melded Tee using things I already have in my closet...

I dare you to go look in your closet for an item you haven't worn for a while and find a way to remix it to make it seem brand new!  Come back and tell me all about it!  Better yet, blog about it and link me back to it!

Ready, Set, Remix!!!!

  2. I have this top in the same colour, I love it but really only wear it when it's warm so that I don't have to cover the detail with a cardi!

    1. I know, the detail on the side does get covered up, but I try to make it work regardless! =)

  3. Hello,
You've inspired me! I have a couple of those type shirts and I put them away as the weather got cooler. Pulling them out and using them with other pieces. Nice post!

  4. I REALLY love this idea. I have so many cute tops that I haven't worn in years. There's nothing wrong with them, I just haven't made the effort to pair them up in new ways. That is a great top and I love the sets you created with it! Thanks so much for linking up today.

  7. I have the same issue with those tops. You have found a cute solution and that top is too cute to just hang out in the closet

    1. Thanks! So many of my tops would just sit dormant in my closet all winter if I didn't layer with a cardi...gotta make it work!!! =)

  9. I have tops like this that I just avoid because they fit like yours, but I'm going to bring one out of the back of the closet and pair it with a cardigan! What a great fix! Btw, I am loving the spring colors you have been sporting!

  10. I love these tops, too. It is my favorite blouse design, I just also wish it were more user friendly so to speak. I feel the need to adjust it often. I'm thinking about using fashion tape to keep the sides from exposing by bra strap. There was also variation in the way they were sewn/fit. Some of mine are a bit baggier than others. The Gathering tank fit much better me, but I love all my Anthro tops nonetheless!! I think I will try my sky one with a chunkier necklace like you did with yours! xoxo
