Yesterday was our last day of Christmas vacation...we slept in until 10:30am, I stayed in my pj's well into the afternoon, the kids played in the snow, I ran my first run of the year and I put away everything Christmas. Although I loved having all the holiday decor up throughout the house I was so ready to bring it all down and put it away. Today the kids went back to school and our regular routine resumes. It was a great vacation while it lasted!
As the new year begins I have some goals in mind for myself, as most people do. I also plan to continue on with this little blog of mine as well. It's been so much fun to write these past few years and I've met a lot of great people and have had some fun opportunities while doing it. Thanks to you readers for sticking with me and checking in to see what I'm wearing each week! =)
I'm linking up to The Pleated Poppy for WIWW today. Check it out for lots of great outfit inspiration!
Have a great day!

Thank you! Hope your new year gets off to a great start! :)
DeleteThat top looks great on you. Happy New Year to you too and so glad to hear that you plan to continue your blog. Looking forward to your many great outfit inspirations in 2013.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Melissa, you're so sweet !
DeleteYou are the cutest! I am stalking your blog... trying to decide what to wear that I can stomp through piles of SNOW in! :) We desperately need a garage! Oh, and I am most certainly going to stalk your sunday clothes too! It's soooo cold getting to church and HOT once inside! Miss you!
ReplyDeleteIt's all about boots, I tell ya! I live in them! As for Sundays, I'm all about patterned tights. They are my favorite!!
DeleteThat was me of course... Lauren :)
ReplyDeleteLol...I was hoping! ;). Miss you!
DeleteThat top is cute on you. I tried it on but passed. Makes me want to give it another try. Do you have a clothing/accessories budget? Anthro is killing my husband. I went crazy there last year. We have not decided what my budget should be but the thought is already putting me in panic mode. Lol!
ReplyDeleteI'm a huge fan of this top but I will say, they all fit different! Try several on to find the right one! As for a budget... I don't have a strict budget but want to try to stick to something this year. Not sure what yet! Still trying to decide on a number. You could really go nuts if you don't watch it at Anthro, agreed!!! ;)
DeleteI love that top! You look adorable. Happy New Year!!

Thanks Emily! Happy New Year to you! Stay warm! :)
DeleteFound you via Pleated Poppy wiww and I love this look! I keep wanting to buy a peplum top but I'm long-waisted and I have a hard time finding one that works.
ReplyDeleteHi Victoria! Thanks for stopping by! I also have a long torso and so far this is the only top I've found to work for me! Like I mentioned above to another reader, however, I had to try on a few of these to find one that worked. They all seemed to fit just a little differently in length. Hope you find something that you love!
DeleteLove this outfit especially the lace peplum blouse!
ReplyDeleteThanks for featuring my bracelet :)
