Casual Friday and finally, some snow boots!

It's Friday!

Thanks to all of you who have already "liked" Found in my Closet on Facebook and if you haven't already done so, head on over and click "like"! =)

So the weekend is once again upon us...yay!  We don't have any big plans but it will be nice to have a few days off after the initial shock of school being back in and everything that goes along with it.  We are still surrounded by piles of snow on the ground so I'm sure my boys will be outside playing in it once again.

Since it's Friday I thought I'd share a casual look with you that I recently wore...I've paired the tank and cardigan together before but I changed up the shoes a little this time....boots again, what do ya know?!!  =)

Original Polyvore set idea for this look can be found HERE

Urubamba Tank-Anthropologie
Premium Sheen Cardigan-Anthropologie
Ultimate Skinny Jeans-Banana Republic
Miz Mooz "Kelsey" Boots-Piperlime
Kenneth Cole Bead Orbital Hoop Earrings-Macy's
Necklace-Stella & Dot
Ring-Forever 21

Speaking of boots, I FINALLY settled on a pair of snow boots.  I searched high and low for a pair of Sorel boots I really loved.  After trying on a pair of the Joan of Arctic style (which was what I had originally planned on purchasing) I decided I didn't like the height of the shaft.  I wanted them to be taller, covering more of my legs.  In the end I went with the "Cate the Great" style and found this colorway on Rue La La for a great deal:

They'll be on Rue La La for just a few more hours under the Sorel sale HERE so take a peek QUICK if you're interested!  I was just going through my Instagram feed and realized my cute neighbor has the same pair, different color.  We're gonna be twinners, Amy! =)

Alrighty, I'm off to take my car in to get repairs done this morning.  Car repairs may be my least favorite thing to spend money on, I'm pretty sure.  This is the second time in a month so let's hope they get it right this time!

Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

  1. Ummm, I just have to say that I am jealous of your closet! You have so many clothes and they are all so nicely organized. I'm in the process of organizing my closet and it is quite the chore :)
