Wearing: Pink and Purple

Happy Monday everyone!

Hope you had a great weekend!  It's rainy and quite dreary at my house today so needless to say it'll be a stay-inside day.  Winter weather is in full effect!  Can you believe we're just a week and a few days away from Thanksgiving?  And Black Friday?  AHHH!!  I'm especially excited about it all because hubby and I are packing up the kids and going to New York City to celebrate this year.  We're headed to visit my bro-in-law and sis-in-law and their kiddos who live in the city.  I've always watched the Macy's Day parade on TV every Thanksgiving but never dreamed I'd actually get to go and see it in real life.  I'm thrilled to be able to share that with my kiddos...so excited!  And to Black Friday shop in NYC...I'm beyond it!  Literally, like Christmas morning as a kid, excited!  My poor sis-in-law...I'm not sure she's such a die-hard Black Friday shopper like me but I have a feeling we'll have some fun. Gear up Hailey!!! =)

To get the week started I thought I'd share an outfit I recently wore:

See Polyvore set for this look HERE

Soca Flutter Blouse-Anthropologie
Traversa Cardigan-J Crew
Skinny Cords-Gap
Miz Mooz "Siri" Knee-High Boots
Small Open Circle Necklace-Shabby Apple
Crystal Pave Link Bracelet-J Crew
Flower Bud Ring-J Crew

Nothing says girlie like some pink and purple!  I have always loved these colors!

Have a great day!

PS--If you are from NYC or have experience being in NYC over Thanksgiving week, I'd love to hear any tips!  Shopping, sight-seeing, eating, etc.  I know my family there has the inside track to a lot but it's always fun to hear the opinions of others too.  And if I only have time to visit one Anthropologie on Black Friday, which should I go to?  Fill me in!

  1. SO Jealous! NYC is my absolute favorite place in the world. My best advice for the parade is to dress warm and get there early. Cafe Lalo (You've Got Mail was filmed here) is such a fun place for breakfast. The Roxy, in Time Square, sells the BEST Black & White cookie in the city, in my opinion. A must stop. Have fun!!!!
