Hi all! Hope your week is going well. We're half-way to the weekend! Today was a good day...the sun was out and we even made it to the park after school for a play date with friends. So did anyone score any goodies from the sale at Anthro yesterday? I have to say I was shocked to see so many great things hit sale after the Black Friday sale announcement just a few days ago...this girl isn't complaining though! I picked up a handful of wish list items and a few other things to try. I'll definitely have a few returns to make out of the bunch. The things I was most excited to grab were the Dots Within Blouse and the Vine-Wrapped Tee (anyone seeing a green trend here??) What did you pick-up??
So I happen to love the look of color blocking and wear different variations of it from time to time. I'm usually much more drawn to a solid accompanied by a print of some sort, but the clean lines and simplicity of color blocking can be so eye catching sometimes. On Sunday I wore a look that falls into what I would categorize as color blocking....or as much so as I wear, anyways:
-Top-Forever 21 (a few years old)
-Cardigan-J Crew Factory
-First Light Skirt-Anthropologie
-Tights-American Eagle
-Seychelles Password Pumps-Nordstrom (2010)
-Necklace-c/o Wish Design Shop
-Earrings-Stella & Dot
-Ring-Ruche
Yes, those are tights on my legs you see. It was COLD that morning! Fall is officially here and the cool temps keep coming. I even busted out my coat today at the park to keep warm...pictures of that to come soon.
Off to bed I go...another morning of working in #1's classroom tomorrow for me! Have a great day!
I absolutely love all those colors on you! Very tasteful and classy!
