Summer is still here...and not going anywhere!

So I love that summer finally decided to really show up now that it's September and I'm totally over the season and ready for fall. It has been in the 90's all week and soccer practices have been cancelled for my son for 2 weeks now due to the near 100 degree weather. I'm giving this season until the official start date of fall to linger...after that I'm over it. Bring on some cooler weather I say! Yesterday I could not bring myself to wear any type of denim so I pulled out my Field Scout Skirt that I picked up for just $19.95 last fall. I've always thought it was bit too long on me, but now that midi-skirts are all the rage this one fits right in! Here's how I styled it:

I think maybe I would wear this without this particular necklace next time...I think it looks ok but after I took it off last night I think I may have liked it better without it. Live and learn.

I've been working on editing all my Anthro Fitting room review pictures and hope to have those up for ya tomorrow. I'm still trying to decide what to get for my birthday...guess I better hurry up and decide! And did you see the new 25% off all full-priced sweaters promo going on now? I am crushing hard on this sweater right now...perhaps it may need to be included in my birthday haul!!



I was fortunate enough to be able to score an online b-day discount code as well as an in-store code so I have one more code to use. Using the b-day discount combined with the 25% off would get the price of this sweater down quite a bit...almost like waiting for it to actually hit sale! Do you see my justification skills at work? =) We'll see.
