Date Night Look from last weekend

Last weekend hubs and I went out to celebrate my birthday, just the two of us, so of course I wanted to try to look kinda cute. I didn't feel like getting super dressy but still wanted to look "dressed up". I decided to pull out my Drapey Bubbled Tee and pair it with some skinny jeans and heels. Killer shoes are the key ingredient for a cute outfit I think! Here's how it all turned out:

-Drapey Bubbled Tee-Anthropologie
-Always Skinny Jeans-Gap
-Slinking Frills Pumps-Anthropologie
-Necklace-Pree Brulee
-Earrings-Nordstrom (BP)
-Bardot Spiral Bangle-Stella & Dot
-Ring-Pree Brulee

At one point in the evening we stopped by our local mall and found ourselves browsing through Express where I found this cute blazer:

I've always thought a cute black blazer would be fun to have in my wardrobe but have never found one I really liked. Blazers are in fact a step outside my norm, but it could be fun to try something new! This one was perfect! It ran TTS and was pretty good quality. I'll be keeping my eye on it to see if it goes on sale anytime soon!!

This is short and sweet tonight...off to bed for me! I'm working in both my boys' classes in the morning and heaven knows I need some energy for all that!

Have a great day!

  3. I love the color combo of this whole outfit. Lately there's just something about pumpkin or burnt orange with a green accent that is so appealing to me. :)
