I stopped by a few dressing rooms this weekend...had a little shopping fun with my sis-in-law, Lauren (who, by the way, has such cute style), who's in town visiting with my bro-in-law. We went out on Friday night for date night and stopped by Nordstrom between dinner and dessert to check out the Anniversary sale. I had my eye on THIS before the sale started and was hoping to track it down. I couldn't locate it anywhere but luckily Lauren spotted it from afar. It's really cute! I ended up getting it in a Small-Petite because that's all I could find it in but honestly, it fit perfect! It's a little sheer and a bit low so it'll require a cami underneath but it's a great versatile layering piece for a great price. And I love the fun bow! I also found a few cute pieces of jewelry in the BP section, and I picked THIS up in bright pink for just $12 (we can be cardi twins now Tricia!!!) I'm still mulling over a few pairs of shoes that are on sale. To get or not to get...that is the question! I may pass...GASP! Is that a bit of self control I detect? Till tomorrow at least.
Last night my sis-in-law and I took off for a quick girl's night out. We stopped by F21 for a bit and then saw a movie...we watched "Larry Crowne". It was cute....a little slow starting, but cute. F21 was sort of a bust for me this time around...I didn't try any clothes on I couldn't live without. I did find a belt and a bracelet...can't leave empty handed on girl's night!
So here's a peek at what I wore this weekend:
Friday night--date night!
I threw on a cardi later in the evening when it got a little chilly:

Polka-Dot Tank-Old Navy
BP 3/4 sleeve Cardi-Nordstrom

BP "Tee" Wedge Sandals-Nordstrom
Pessinus Garden Necklace-Anthropologie

Today was my husband's birthday but the poor guy was on call and had to go into work twice. We fit dinner and cake in between calls so at least he got to enjoy it a little. Such is the life of a resident. Have you ever had a Cold Stone Ice Cream cake? Oh, my YUM! It was so good! I highly recommend them. Tomorrow we're headed into San Francisco to hang out and show our company around. I'm looking forward to a fun day!
Hope you have a great start to the week!
