The weekend is almost over again...how does it fly by so fast? Hubby and I were able to join his fellow residents and their spouses for a dinner last night at Flemings Steakhouse...YUM! It counts as our Valentines date this year I suppose as it's a little more difficult to celebrate on a weeknight when you've got kiddos. We had a great time catching up with everyone. I decided to wear a subtle Valentines-ish look for our night out:
Details:
-Polka Dot Tank-Loft
-Cardigan-J Crew (picked this up in January for $17.99!)
-Rockstar Leggings-Old Navy
-Candies Clogs-Kohl's
-Necklace and Bracelet-Vera Wang for Kohl's
-Earrings-Forever 21
-Ring-OLD
Today for church I decided to dress in honor of Valentines again...I went with pink this time. I actually bought this dress for Valentines day last year so I'm 2 for 2 now. I even threw in my heart toggle necklace for the occasion!
Details:
-Dress-DownEast Basics
-Vince Camuto Miki Pumps-Nordstrom
-Necklace-Tiffany
-Bracelet-Pac Sun
-Earrings-Express
Please excuse the giant bruise on my arm...you should see the other chick! haha...just kidding. Too bad there's not a cooler story to the bruise. I bent down to pick up a toy under our dining room table and when I came back up I slammed my arm into one of the chairs. It hurt SOOOO bad! How's that for cool? =)
One last outfit to share...here's what I wore on Friday:
Details:
-Floral print tank-Old Navy
-Striped Cardigan-Loft
-Skinny Cargos-Old Navy
-Red City Flats-Gap
-Necklace-Tiffany
-Candy Bowl Ring-Banana Republic
-Earrings-Express
All I did on Friday was run my son to and from preschool and then met some friends at the park for a play date so I just went super casual. The weather outside was so nice!
So any fun plans for tomorrow?? Did you get your Valentine a gift? What did you get him? Do you even exchange gifts? If you have fabulous plans I hope you enjoy them! As for me...I'll be celebrating by watching the new episode of The Bachelor tomorrow night after the kids go to bed...how much more romantic can it get? =)
love the red touches! Pretty dress. Glad you got to go out for dinner. We plan to go out for breakfast tomorrow- my favorite meal!
ReplyDeleteAgreed, its a lot easier to do Valentine's Day on the weekend!!! Love the dress! And I'm right there with ya on watching The Bachelor tomorrow.... :)
ReplyDeleteWow...you're totally in the spirit of Vday, Jenni! I think it's so cute! :) You look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteYour vday outfits are adorable! And I can't wait for the bachelor tomorrow, it's my favorite show!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Flemings. I forget it's there. Love the red dress on you. I have those ON pants. Site reviewers didn't like the seam down the front, but I do.
ReplyDeleteI'm cooking steak & lobster. And we'll be watching the Jeopardy special w/the IBM computer. LIVE IT UP!
Love the red dress on you. We are doing our valentines day date during lunch break :-) I always get gift from hubby but I don't buy him because his birthday is very close to valentines day. Do you have trouble buying gift for men? They either get the stuff themselves, or never seem to really want anything....
ReplyDeleteYour church outfit is fantastic - and those Camuto heels you wore bring the whole look to another level! Happy V-Day to you and yours!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentines Day Jenni. You were right, that cami goes with everything!
ReplyDeleteI love both your Vday looks! I have always wanted to eat at Flemings's maybe someday!:) We are going out for an early dinner and then I am putting the kids down and watching the best show ever!! If Michelle does not go home tonight I am going to scream!
ReplyDeleteyou look perfectly festive for a valentine weekend! loving all these looks--they're totally chic yet totally "doable." know what i mean? i'm all for that. fabulous ensembles.

You look great! I hope you enjoy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty in your red - you should wear that color more often. I love how you paired that dress with those shoes - fun, edgy & unexpected. Also, once again I am loving your Old Navy finds, they look awesome and a lot more expensive. That Candy Bowl Ring is gorgeous, perfect name for it, too. LOL
ReplyDeleteThis is very useful information on valentine’s wear. Recently, I purchased a new dress for my valentine’s party which is being arranged at one of beautiful LA venues. Hope all my friends will like this dress and wish to have a lovely event.
