Thanks for all the input on the Shabby Apple dresses...it helps to hear other's opinions sometimes. I narrowed it down to the yellow and purple rosette dresses and the red dress last night. While I was on the treadmill this morning I tried to make a decision (gotta think about something while I'm running!) and by the time I was done I had. I chose the red dress with that cute bow. I am lacking red in my wardrobe so this is the perfect way to bring some more of it in. I hope I like the dress! I played around on Polyvore to come up with a few ways to style it...here are two ways I like best:

So there you have it...what I've been wearing this week. Tomorrow morning I'm meeting up with some girlfriends for brunch so that will be fun. This is a short week at school for my oldest son as they're off on Friday which is nice. Too bad my other son still has preschool or we could have planned a fun day trip. All well. We'll at least plan on meeting up with some friends at the park in the afternoon as long as it's still nice out. And besides, I'll take getting to school by 9am instead of 8am any day.
Have a good one!
I love look number 2 because it's just simple and clean. For a wedding I think I like that more.
ReplyDeleteoh Cindi...this isn't the dress I'm wearing to the wedding...I just had a credit to use at Shabby Apple so I picked the red dress out to get for fun! =)
ReplyDeleteLove both looks, what a cute dress. Also love the
ReplyDeletesweeping stitch heels, another pair I missed. You always look great in all you OOTD's.
I love your purple and green color combo today! And I really like Look #1. The colorful striped cardigan with ruffles is SO cute and will look great with the red dress. I've never heard of Shabby Apple - I need to check it out ASAP.
ReplyDeleteI hope you love the dress when it arrives! Your outfits this week have all been adorable, I am lol because I often have to crop a kid out of my pictures!
ReplyDeleteGreat pick on the red dress and I love how you styled it! Love all of the outfits this week too! And you are making me wish I could have gotten the sweeping stitch heels. They were on my wishlist for forever but in the end I swapped them out for my yellow waving grain pumps. They are adorable on you!
ReplyDeleteI love #1 those shoes are to die! I bet your shoe collection is pretty fantastic! LOVE all of your outfits girl!!

That red dress is a beauty! I love Shabby Apple too, but don't own any yet. And I see your pretty teal shoes there - I went to Anthro in SF today - didn't find a thing in that huge store! Good thing since I'm on a no-spend I guess.
ReplyDeleteso I know that this is going to be a random question, but are you willing to sell your sweeping stitch shoes? if you are, what size do you wear? i know that this is probably super random and pseudo creepy, but i'm getting married in september and the shoes were sold out before i could get them. desperate times call for desperate measures hahaha.
