What I found in my closet today...and my first Polyvore set!!

Hi all! Hope you all had a great day! We had a rough start...first day back to preschool for my 4 year old and let me tell ya, I felt successful by only being 10 minutes late. That's bad, I know, but today it was a success. The first day back to school after a long vacation is a hard one. Hopefully by Monday when my oldest goes back to school we'll be back to normal and ready to go. I was up late last night playing on my darn computer...and FINALLY figured out how to work Polyvore! It's so easy! I guess I just never took the time to actually read the directions before. =) I decided to put together a set using the Insouciant tank that I picked up on sale at Anthro a while back but haven't worn yet.

Here it is:

When I went to take my picture today I was in the mood for a little change...I'm getting bored of the same pose day in and day out so I thought I'd try to change it up a little (key word there is TRY):

Ok, so I'm no model...this is clear. It makes for a few good laughs though...my kids thought it was funny! =) Guess it's back to the normal routine:

I just found out that my brother-in-law's wedding colors in March are yellow (not sure if it's more of a mustard yellow or a sunny yellow..there have been conflicting reports) and grey. What would you wear? The wedding is in Arizona so the weather should be nice. I'm on the hunt both in my closet and online for a cute outfit. Family members all wear colors that match the wedding colors usually so I mainly need to stick to yellow, grey, black and white. If you have any good ideas let me know!

Have a good night!

  12. I would most definitely wear the Sun Shades dress - in fact, I'd be giddy for the excuse to buy it! But I'm thinking you have the green/white striped similar version from Shabby Apple? Too similar to own both?

Hooray for figuring out Polyvore - it's so much fun! And you look terrific in your ootd - that teal is magic on you!

Jan--such a great idea and that dress totally came to mind as well, but I had the same thought...it does look a lot like the Shabby Apple dress I already have. I may have to look alittle closer at it next time I stop by ANthro though just in case! =) No hurt in trying!! Thanks for the idea!!
