For the love of Polka Dots...and an Anthro sale!

It's November!  That means even colder weather has begun, Thanksgiving is right around the corner and BLACK FRIDAY is coming!!!!  Lots of fun things to look forward to!

One thing I've been looking forward to recently is wearing this fun new sweater I picked up a few weeks ago for 30% off at J Crew Factory.  It's so darn cute!  Typically I'm not drawn to black sweaters, but this one was calling my name.  I love it!  After seeing Elisabeth Hasselbeck wear the pink and grey retail version on The View a while back I started wishing I had paid more attention to it.  The very next week when I went to my local Crewlet I saw this cute polka-dot goodie laying there on the shelf and knew it was meant to be. The J Crew gods must have been listening!!   I thought I'd pair the nice neutral palette of the sweater with something a little more colorful and adventurous for church today...here's what I came up with:

You can find the original Polyvore set I created for this look  HERE

Factory Intarsia Charley Sweater in Dot-J Crew Factory/ Firelight Skirt-Anthropologie/ Leopard-Spotted Skinny belt-Anthropologie/ Tights-Kohl's/ Stacked Strap Heels-Anthropologie/ Necklace-J Crew Factory/ Crystal Blossom Drop Earrings-J Crew Factory/ Marc by Marc Jacobs Henry Chrono Watch/ Copper Cupchain Bracelet-Stella & Dot/ Classic Pave Link Bracelet-J Crew/ Sparkling Dome Ring-Forever 21

This morning I was excited to see another round of sale cuts at Anthropologie!  A few items I've been waiting to hit sale were included...here's a few of my sale picks and goodies on their way to my doorstep:

Can't wait to pair this with my mint AG's!  I tried it on in-store a while back and the X-Small was the right fit for me.  It's sheer so plan on layering!

I LOVED this sweater when I tried it on...it was on my birthday wish list in September so I'm excited to finally add it to my closet!  It will go with everything!  I took this in an X-Small.  You may need to size up if you're a little more blessed up top.

I love the silvery tone of this belt...and the corset style is super cute.  You can never have enough wide belts to choose from...they are so versatile!

This skinny beaded belt is perfect to add some color to a dress...I plan to pair it with my green Given Then Gathered Dress first, as long as it fits right.  I have yet to try this one one so crossing my fingers it's a keeper!

There were lots of boots and shoes also on sale this morning, and a good amount of outerwear pieces, but none that were cut low enough to peak my interest at the moment...I'm holding out for 2nd cuts on a few things still.

Did you pick anything up on sale this morning at Anthro?  DO tell!

I'll be hanging close to home today...my youngest had a little accident last night that involved him falling right into the frame of his bunk bed face first.  Needless to say it was super sad, scary and very bloody.  BOYS!  Thankfully my hubby fixed him right up with a few stitches (not without a lot of screaming) so we didn't have to rush to the ER and sit for hours on end.  This morning he's very swollen and sore and a little sad looking so I think it's best to avoid the masses.  Poor guy!  Hopefully it heels quickly!

Have a great day!

    1. I love going to the actual outlet store because they seem to get things in quicker than it shows up online and the deals tend to be better. Plus no shipping! =)
