Three Day Weekends are my favorite...Anthro finds and an OOTD

Hi there!  Hope you all had a great weekend!  I loved having an extra day off for President's Day...even hubby got the day off!  We decided to head out of town yesterday for the day and visit Bodega Bay and the Tomales Bay area where we hunted for Sea Shells, hiked a little and picked up some Salt Water Taffy.  There was also a trip to Chipotle involved...I love that place!  The kids had a great time and it was nice to get out of town for a bit, even if it was just for the day.  Did you do anything fun??

Over the weekend I stopped by Anthropologie to return a few things.  While I was there I tried on a ton of cute new things since I was sans kiddos (thank you hubs for giving me the night off)!  I was pleasantly surprised by how many things I liked this time around compared to my last visit.  I'll work on getting those reviews up for you hopefully in the next few days.  For now though, here are a few of my new favorites:

Love this in white and yellow:

LOVE this top in all the colors offered:

One of each, please!  Some in multiple colors too.  Thanks. =)

I treated myself to the last two items on this list the other night using my return money towards it.  This black dress and belt were made for each other and each piece has multiple possibilities all on their own as well.

Here's a sneak peek at their review:

Layered with a sweater:

LOVE!  I can't wait to break this out and wear it!  So many possibilities for multiple seasons.

And while we're talking about cute Anthro finds, how about this adorable new version of the Drawing Room Necklace that just popped up online yesterday:

Holy perfection!  I wear my winter version of this necklace all the time so this is a no brainer...I'll definitely be adding this one to the mix as well ASAP.  Love it!

And just to throw an outfit of the day picture in, here's what I wore to Anthro on Saturday night:

 Without the coat:

What I Wore:
-Camellia Blouse-Anthropologie
-Cap Sleeve Tee-Shade Clothing
-Marled & Stitched Sweatercoat-Anthropologie
-1969 Lightweight Cord Leggings-Gap
-Chiseled Wedges-Anthropologie

-Sainte Chapelle Earrings-Anthropologie
-Green Bracelet-Forever 21

I wish I had fun plans for today like I did all weekend but instead it's just me in the dental chair all afternoon to get a crown put on my tooth.  Boo!  All well.  Back to reality. The fun was great while it lasted.

Hope you all have a great day!

  2. I bought the black dress as well this weekend!! LOVE it!! My Anthro did not have that belt and I am thinking I "need" it! :) Also did you notice how see-through the dress is? What kind of slip do you think you are going to wear with it?? Love it all!!

    1. I usually wear a longer slip underneath any maxi dress/skirt I wear to solve the see-through factor so I'll do the same with this. I just have a dress slip...I've had it for years. I honestly couldn't even tell you where I go it!

  3. So beautiful....love the black dress on you. I am usually not a fan of maxi dresses on myself but may need to try that one. Curious...what type of shoes will you wear with it?

  5. I really enjoyed perusing this post, Jenni. I love the yellow t-shirt with the asymetrical hem & the Drawing Room necklace - will have to look for them at my local Anthro (items take a bit longer to come to Canada). And the maxi dress looks lovely on you, as does the Camellia blouse.(:

  6. I can't find the black maxi online - do you know what it is called?

  7. It's called the "Cinch & Flow Maxi"...it can be found in the lounge section because they're calling it a "Chemise". Here's a link:

    Hope that helps! =)

  10. I am loving the black maxi! Trying to find clothes to wear to Italy. The reviews say it shrinks though. Did you have any problems with that?

    1. That would be the perfect item to take on a vacation...so comfy! I actually haven't worn it yet so it hasn't been washed yet, so I can't comment on how it holds up yet.
