Summer Stripes

This summer I have fully jumped on the stripes bandwagon...I love to wear stripes! Today I threw on this fun stripey shirt I picked up at J Crew Factory a few months back for a whopping $15. Cute stripes on the cheap? Sign me up!

Maybe I'll actually remember to take a full length picture of my outfit tomorrow...till then the self portrait is as good as it gets! =)

We were sad to say goodbye to our company this morning....now back to reality (and my large pile of laundry). Tomorrow morning I'm planning on getting up early to attempt to run again after taking a few weeks off to let my back heal. I did something to hurt it while working out and knew I'd have to give it a few weeks to heal, but I'm going a little crazy! Running is my stress reliever so taking a few weeks off is hard to do. I will say, however, not having to get up at the crack of dawn to run has been nice these past few weeks! =) I'm crossing my fingers it feels good and it's all better when I hit the treadmill in the morning.

    Love your outfit. I've had my eye on that Stella & Dot necklace for a few weeks now. How do you like it? Not to ask a silly question, but is it "heavy" feeling? I love long necklaces, but sometimes the weight of them is too much on my neck.

    Ginastorm--I don't think the necklace is that heavy at all, but that's just because I'm used to wearing necklaces all the time! It has a little weight to it but I wouldn't let that stop you from trying it out!

    I really love the combo of turquoise and red, too, Jenni! So fresh and summery! And I must tell you how much I'm lusting after the Blazing Blouse, after seeing it on you and JG. You know, I paged past it everytime I saw it on Anthro's sale page, and now I'm regretting not getting it!

    Hi Jenni - I'm so sorry, I never got your email, I even checked my "junk" folder in case it got filtered for some reason...thanks for thinking of me and sorry I have been MIA! All is well, I am just completely exhausted and trying to keep my two oldest from killing each other off this Summer - not sure what is up with their constant fighting??!!! Anyway, I know I keep saying this, but I do mean to update the blog - maybe over the weekend...

    Jan--YAY! So fun to hear from you! I figured everything was just fine but wanted to be sure! I was DEAD TIRED with my 3rd pregnancy so I can totally relate. It was way worse than the first two! Hope your kiddos give you a break...I battle the same issues with mine too! We only have 3 1 /2 weeks left of summer so it wn't be long before they're all back at school now! Thanks for the saying hi!

    Mindie--I ordered the US size 4 and it fit perfectly! I am usually an XS or Small in Anthro tops, for reference. Hope that helps! Sorry it took me so long to see your post!
