I actually saw this tee and grey jean pairing at Loft one day and it's what prompted me to start thinking about buying skinny jeans with ankle zippers (I already owned the tee). I'm literally a walking Loft ad today...I didn't even realize till now! Anyhow, what do you think? Are you pro-ankle zippers or anti? Have you given it a try?
Last night I went out with a few girlfriends to dinner and dessert...it was so fun to go out and have girl time! I decided to pull out my Traversa cardigan for the occasion:

I'm such a sucker for the purple/navy blue combo...it's one of my favorites! This was the first time I had worn my open-toed clogs...they're super comfy and I got a great deal on them which makes them even more appealing! I would love to get some in black now too!
I have a few more outfits to share...here's what I wore all day yesterday while it was chilly and a bit rainy (do you love the wind-blown hair look?--scary!)

I had a church meeting to attend that night and actually didn't think I was going to be able to make it until the last second so I quickly changed into this (left everything on top on--just changed out the jeans and sandals for a skirt and heels):

-Password Pumps-Seychelles via Nordstrom
-Belt-J Crew Outlet
Excuse the awful looking hair...it was second day hair at the end of the 2nd day...bad news.
Well, that's about it for now...all we have planned for tomorrow is church in the afternoon and then I'll be making a pot of soup for dinner to warm us up since it should be raining a lot. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend and have had the chance to get all dressed up for something fun!
I am lauging about your skinny jeans/pants post...I felt the same way about them, now I absolutley love them...How else would we be able to rock our boots??
ReplyDeleteAll your outfits look fantastic! The zipper skinnies look great on you. I don't think I could pull them off. Oh, and I want all of you shoes now! LOL!
ReplyDeleteNo zippers for me, but if I had legs as skinny as yours I might be more inclined to try the trend - you can pull off anything! I really LOVE the traversa on you, the lavender and navy look gorgeous together - I'm going to copy. Soon.
ReplyDeleteI love all your skinny leg jeans looks...especially with peep-toe shoes. I tried styling some blue suede peep-toe shooties, but realized that the only skinnies I own are dark blue...so they completely blended into the shoes. Not good! I returned the shoes, but I guess I could have just bought more skinny pants!
ReplyDeleteAnd your Seychelles shoes are so, so pretty with pink!
I haven't given zippered skinny jeans a try yet, I may have to change that soon. I love your hair curly and of course love all of these outfits! The clogs and boots are especially cute!
ReplyDeleteMe no likey "skinny jeans" but it's probabaly b/c I'm not skinny!! haha. They look great on you! All of your skinny jean outfits are great - I like the boots outfit best!
