Red, White and Blue (denim) for Election Day!!!

Happy Election day!

I for one am not big into politics (don't worry, I voted), but I'm very happy to celebrate the arrival of November 6th this year simply to welcome the end of all the political ads, commercials, phone calls, etc. It's been a little much, am I right?  In honor of election day I thought it was only fitting to celebrate with a little red, white and blue...fashion blogger style.

Here's a few ideas of how you can sport your patriotic colored denim proudly as you hit the poles today:

Red

White

This was a little remix challenge for me as every item I used in all three sets can be found in my closet right now (except the Chevron necklace...it's on my wish list).  Some items are newer while some are quite old.  I love finding ways to make items in my closet work in totally new ways!

Happy Election Day!

  1. We were in Ohio a week or so back and I couldn't believe how much more intense the TV and radio ads were there. Can tell it was a swing state...it was a BIT much!

  2. Loving all of these outfits. I am lucky, nobody worries about Utah so I haven't had any calls (although I donate money and am pretty hounded for more, which I am happy will be over!)

    1. That is ice! We had our fair share of the craziness in CA but nothing like here in Ohio!

  3. You have inspired me again today! I have a lot of the items in the outfits you posted. I love them all! I wish I were so creative. I could not get dressed today. After seeing your outfits I came up with an outfit in record time. It takes me forever to create an outfit. How long does it take you to put something together? I need to stop overthinking things.

    1. Ahh, thanks Shannon! So glad I could help! It's hard to say how long it takes to put together an outfit...sometimes it's like 5 seconds, sometimes 5 min, other times I sit in my bathrobe for a long time trying to figure it out. =) I like to have sets already made on Polyvore to draw from so getting dressed in the morning goes as quick as possible...it's been a total game changer!

  9. Hi Jenni, is it possible for you to do a posting on rain coats? I am in need of a cute raincoat and was hoping you had some to post from your closest or seen some while out shopping. My favorite so far is from Boden:http://www.bodenusa.com/en-US/Womens-Coats-Jackets/Coats/WE344-DGY/Womens-Charcoal-Heritage-Petal-Rainy-Day-Mac.html. "Rainy Day Mac" in Pewter. Thanks for the help, love the outfits you posted.
