Weekend Round-up--What I Wore

Happy Monday everyone!  The weekend went by SOOOO fast, agreed?  It's never long enough!  I had a very busy, but fun weekend.  I feel like my next two months of weekends are already booked solid with parties, school functions, family gatherings, traveling, graduation and doing last minute things we still want to fit in before we move.  I have a feeling the next 60 days are going to be a whirl wind, but I plan on enjoying every bit of it!

On Friday hubby and I snuck away for dinner and a movie...we finally saw The Hunger Games.  Neither of us have read the books but we were both intrigued.  After I got past the tragic aspects of the plot I actually thought it was a pretty well made, entertaining movie.  It was very interesting, to say the least.  I decided to shop my closet and pulled out a top from oft I hadn't worn in a while:

What I Wore
Tank-Loft
Cardigan-Old Navy
Toothpick Ankle Denim-J Crew Factory
Lemon Stick Wedges-Anthropologie
Necklace and Bracelets-Tiffany
Candy Bowl Ring-Banana Republic
Earrings-Nordstrom (BP)

On Saturday I had to head up to Roseville to pick up a few dining room chairs I had ordered a while back (3 crazy boys=2 broken dining room chairs) so I figured I'd take advantage and stop in at Anthro for some returns and try-ons.   I'll have some fitting room reviews for you soon!  Here's what I wore:

What I Wore
Hace Sol Peasant Top-Anthropologie
Layering Tee-Shade Clothing
1969 Lightweight Always Skinny Cropped Jeans-Gap
Wedge Sandals-Nordstrom
Bubble Necklace-J Crew Factory
Bracelets-Anthropologie and Down East Basics
Crystal Blossom Drop Earrings-J Crew Factory
Flower Bud Ring-J Crew

I have to share one of my favorite finds of the day...I'm thinking about adding these to my closet in May:

LOVE the color of these cute crops...they are super fun!  I've been trying to find mint jeans for a while now and these might be the answer!  They're not a true mint...they're like mint with a twist of lime...love!

On Sunday I got dressed up for church as usual...I went floral this week:

What I Wore
Stroke of Midnight Dress-Down East Basics
Slip-Quincee's Boutique
Seychelles Come Dancing Peep-Toe Pumps-Amazon
Necklace-J Crew Factory
Bracelets-Nordstrom and Gap Outlet
Crystal Blossom Drop Earrings-J Crew Factory
Flower Bud Ring-J Crew

And that's the weekend round-up!

Hope the new week gets off to a great start for you!

  1. I have that same dress from Downeast! Waiting for it to get a little warmer before I wear it.

  2. Love both of your casual outfits. Your hair looks great too.....you seem to be able to do it the same way as your hairstylist. Unfortunately, I usually can not repeat the stylist's look...mostly because I lack patience and time. The mint crops are cute too. I am going to check out the white ones to possibly replace a very old pair of JCrew white crops I own.

  3. LOVE those jeans! I am looking for mint jeans as well. Tried J Crew but they didn't fit quite right. Nordstrom has some I need to try on... Like the Anthro ones though!

  4. oh you looks so great in that dress.
I was looking at some of the items at Down East website, how do you say their sizing runs? I am always a XS at Anthro. DO you think their XS is same as Anthro's XS?
    Thanks

    1. Thanks so much! As far as the sizing goes, I'd say Down East is similar to Anthro. I wear XS or Small in everything at Anthro and lately tend to need an XS in things at DownEast so I'd say maybe you might need an XS or an XXS in some things... Like flowey tops maybe. Hope that helps!

  5. Oh, I love that shell - I had it in the lighter motif but had sizing issues so I had to sell it on EBay - maybe I should try to find it again in the right size because it looks so darn cute on you!

  8. Love the orange and purple together. So cute and chic. Loving the mint jeans, fun and perfect for Spring. I need a pair of mint jeans, but I went over budget in April, so hopefully I can find a pair for a good price in May. How did you fare with your April budget?

    1. I am loving anything mint right now but really don't have much in my closet...I'm on the hunt! The April budget went ok...I ended up making a good chunk on my blog sale and doing a lot of returns of things in my closet but after all was said and done I was still over a little...I'll report in my next post! =)
