Gathering Blossoms

Happy Thursday everyone! Today is looking to be another beautiful day...hopefully the rainstorms are behind us for good now! By the weekend it's suppose to be well into the 100's...now that's what I call summer! Yesterday I broke out my Gathering Blossoms Top. I was smitten with the gorgeous color of this top when I first saw it. I saw Molly pair her Gathering Blossoms top with a purple cardigan a while back and thought it was so cute so thanks for the idea, girl!

Anyone looking forward to the weekend?? ME!! We don't have any big 4th of July plans yet...still waiting to see what hubby's work schedule is looking like. I do have a hair appointment on Saturday that I'm looking forward to though! I am in desperate need of some highlights...my roots are not looking the cutest right now. =)

We're off to my boys' last swimming lesson this morning (yay!) and then hubby is coming home from his month-long rotation in Fresno this afternoon (double yay!) Hope you all have a great day!

Five Things

First up, wanna know who won my 1 year Blogiversary Anthro gift card giveaway?? I used random.org to generate the winner, and it picked #21 who was:

Stephanie from Bar Chic!!!

I'll get in touch with you Stephanie...congrats!

Second, it's pouring rain today and was 6o degrees when I was driving my boys to swimming lessons this morning. My oldest son's lessons are outside so he got to swim in the rain (which at 7 years old, that kind of stuff is fun, thankfully). Apparently someone didn't get the memo that's it's gonna be July in 3 days. What the heck??

Third, lookie over HERE. Does that girl on the left look familiar? So fun, and a total surprise! =)

Fourth, I just made these for my boys for lunch and upon hearing the timer on the oven signaling they were done I opened the oven only to find they were all totally raw still. Would have helped to turn the oven on, I'm sure (blonde moment). They're back in the oven baking (for real) now and they smell SOOOO good!

Fifth, I was somewhat relived to see only a very small sale at Anthro this morning. I still haven't even received the items I ordered from last week's haul! I did manage to find one thing I wanted though, of course:

Blouse

Blouse (see more shirt blouses)

I own the blue motif already and really like it so I knew when they went on sale I'd pick up the green motif as well.

And just for good measure, here's what I'm wearing today:

Details:
-Top-J Crew
-Cap Sleeve Tee-Shade Clothing
-Cardigan-J Crew
-Skinny Jeans-Banana Republic
-Flats-BC Footwear via DSW Shoes
-Necklace-Nordstrom
-Earrings-Nordstrom
-Ring-Pree Brulee

Have a great day!

JUST A REMINDER...TO ENTER MY 1 YEAR BLOGIVERSARY $25 ANTHROPOLOGIE GIFT CARD GIVEAWAY, CLICK HERE. GIVEAWAY ENDS TONIGHT, JUNE 27, 2011 AT 11:59PM, PST.

It's time for another weekend wrap-up...how on earth is it Monday again already?? And by the way, it's going to be July this week...crazy!! We had a fun weekend...a night out with my hubby, a day trip with the family, and a day to relax at home altogether...it's been nice. Of course I always try to dress the part so here's a peek at what I wore this weekend:

-Artist Crop Jeans-American Eagle
-Steve Madden "Cabezza" Sandals-Shoes.com

-Sheep Meadow Dress-Shabby Apple
-Lightweight Ruffle Sleeve Cardigan-Banana Republic
-Seychelles "Come Dancing" Peep-Toe Pumps-Amazon.com
-Rock Candy Necklace-Anthropologie

Lots of stripes and polka dots for me this weekend! I have to say, that dress I wore on Friday night was a total lucky find...and fit! It was hanging on the sale rack at White House, Black Market last week (for half-off!!!), and it fit like a glove! It was actually meant to be an off-the shoulder dress but I wore it up on my shoulders,of course. To be honest, I kind of like it better that way anyways. It was officially my first White House, Black Market purchase ever...is that odd? Do you shop there? Like their stuff?

Hope you all have fun things planned for this upcoming week...we'll be keeping busy with play dates, swim lessons, Taekwondo and anything else we can fit in...gotta love summer vacation!!! Happy Monday!!!

Happy 1 year Blogiversary!

Hi all! Today marks one year from the day I started this little blog. That went fast! I can totally remember sitting down and creating it...feeling hesitant at first and then just deciding I would go for it and see what happened. I've had lots of fun with my little blog and have met some really neat people through it this past year. It's been interesting to see my changing looks, hair styles and outfits, for sure. It's made me more aware of how I dress and present myself each day. I would (bravely) say that after a year of blogging all about what's in my closet (and what I've added to my closet--the blog backfired in a way....I definitely have had more fun adding to my closet than not) I have come out of it with a little more sense of style and knowledge of what looks best on me. Don't get me wrong, I don't always get it right, but lets be honest, there's really no "wrong" in fashion as long as you're confident in what you wear (to a point...lol).

In honor of my 1 year Blogiversary I thought I'd do a little giveaway! I am giving away a $25 gift card to my favorite store, Anthropologie!

Here are the rules:

1. You must be 18 years or older and live in the US to enter.

2. You must be a public follower of "Found in My Closet". You can find the "Follow" button on the right sidebar.

3. Leave a comment on this post telling me how long you've been reading my blog...if you're a newbie, if you've been stopping in here and there for a few months or if you've been with me from the beginning. I'm just curious! =)

4. Leave your email address in your comment so I can contact you if you are the winner.

5. Contest will be open until Monday, June 27, 2011 at 11:59pm PST.

I will choose a winner at random and announce the winner on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Check back to see if you won!

**This contest is in no way sponsored or funded by Anthropologie.

Now because this is a fashion blog I'll leave you with a little fashion...here's what I wore the past few days:

Tuesday (went shopping with my girlfriend to look for an outfit for a dinner we have to go to on Friday for our husbands' work):

Details:
-Gathering Tank-Anthropologie
-Matchstick Jeans-J Crew Outlet
-Steve Madden "Cabezza" Sandal-shoes.com
-Necklace-Tiffany
-Earrings-Express
-Bracelet-Stella & Dot

Wednesday:

Details:
-Striped T-American Eagle (Scored this for under $8!)
-Artist Crop Jeans-American Eagle
-TOMS-Nordstrom
-Necklace-J Crew Factory
-Earrings-Nordstrom
-Ring-Pree Brulee

And an up-close of my summer braid:

I have to share one more thing with you...upon hearing that the Happy Morning Sweater got another price cut (3rd cut) on Tuesday I thought I'd call a few stores to see if I could track one down.

I mulled over getting this sweater several times after it went on sale and in the end told myself I just didn't know how to style it to make myself pass on it. I've since seen it on a few people on blogs and thought it was soooo cute so I figured I might as well see if there were any left floating around. After calling a handful of stores I was finally able to track down what may be the last XS in the country...and it's mine for just $19.95!!! This was a $178 sweater, people! I love a good deal, don't you!

Alrighty..off for another morning of swimming lessons...hope you all enjoy your day!

Field Scout Skirt

Don't you just love it when you score a great deal? It makes me so happy to get an expensive item for WAY cheaper than the original price. The Field Scout Skirt was one of those items for me. I was able to get this skirt for a whopping $19.95 when it hit second cuts...deal! I was so excited to get it and then wore it one time. That was about 6 months ago. Yesterday I decided to end the Field Scout drought and pulled it out to play in a new season.

Details:
-Field Scout Skirt-Anthropologie
-Perfect Striped Boatneck Tee-J Crew
-Looping Lanes Belt-Anthropologie
-Presta Wedge Sandals-Target
-Necklace-Forever 21
-Bracelet-Twisted Silver
-Earrings-can't see and can't remember!
-Ring-Forever 21

Before this look, I had never worn a striped shirt with a skirt before...I think I'll be doing it again soon though! I like the dressy casualness of the way it all looks together. An added bonus was that a skirt is so much cooler to wear than jeans in this heat. Can't go wrong with that!

So the sale...OH, the sale. What a great one! Quite a few things I have been stalking went on sale this morning and yes, I surely grabbed them up before they all sold out! Among the coveted items I scored were the Blazing Blouse, the Alstroemeria Tee and the Chevron Cardi. I threw a few more things in for good measure so we'll see what works out and what doesn't. On top of that I was able to get a price adjustment on some bracelets and my Ackee Skirt...down to just $29.95! Love me a great sale day! Did you end up getting anything? Did you think this sale was better than the Tag sale weeks? I sure did!

Well, I'm off to bed. We've got swimming lessons again in the morning! Hope you all have a great day!

Start of Summer!

Hi all! Today is our first official day of summer vacation...woo hoo!! The warm weather has been in full force and this week will be even hotter. We were super busy with fun activities this past weekend, including my son's 5th birthday party that turned out great, which is why I haven't posted anything...but I do have some pictures of what I was wearing to share with ya so on with the fashion show:

Thursday:

Details:
-Batik Maxi Dress-Forever 21
-Open Cardigan-J Crew Factory
-Belt-Forever 21
-DV By Dolce Vita "Dauphin" Sandals-Nordstrom
-Necklace-Fossil
-Earrings-Forever 21
-Bracelet-Stella & Dot
-Ring-Pree Brulee

I have three of these Maxi dresses...two that are solid colors, and then this printed one. They are super easy, comfortable and the price was definitely right at only $15!

Friday:

Details:
-Top-DownEast Basics
-Artist Crop Jeans-American Eagle (Authentic Dark Wash)
-Sandals-Old Navy
-Necklace-J Crew Factory
-Bracelet-???
-Earrings-J Crew Factory
-Ring-Nordstrom (BP)

These are the cropped jeans I mentioned in my last post. I went to American Eagle last week to check them out and really liked the way they fit! I ended up sizing down in these as I know American Eagle denim tends to stretch out a little during the day as you wear it. After wearing these, however, I didn't find they stretched out too much at all! I would still say size down though, just in case.

Saturday:

Details:
-Loosened Shelby Blouse-Anthropologie
-Tank-J Crew Factory
-Cardigan-Loft Outlet
-Artist Crop Jeans-American Eagle (Clean Rinse)
-Seychelles "Purr" Wedge Sandals-Shoes.com
-Necklace-Nordstrom (BP)
-Earrings-Banana Republic
-Ring-Pree Brulee

This was what I wore to my son's birthday party. I knew when this top was released online at Anthro, I had to have it...I love it! Just think of all the colors you can mix and match with it! I'm also wearing my new Seychelles sandals with this outfit which happen to be super comfortable. They are the perfect pewter shade that can be paired with silver or gold jewelry which is what I was looking for. Yes, I'm wearing the AE Crops again, but this time in a darker shade...I picked them up in two colors. If only they had made them in white...I would have grabbed those too!

Sunday:

Details:
-Curated Tee-Anthropologie
-Glowing Leaf Skirt-Anthropologie
-Seychelles "Purr" Wedge Sandals-Nordstrom
-Double Torsade Necklace-Anthropologie
-Bracelets-Tiffany
-Earrings-Banana Republic

I don't quite know why this combination never dawned on my before....the color of the top goes perfectly with this skirt! Thanks to Polyvore for helping me come up with this remix!

Wow, you can definitely tell by the amount of curl in my hair in these pictures whether or not I took it at the beginning or end of the day! Just this past week one side of my hair has been holding the curl better than the other...weird? I think so, and kind of frustrating. Not sure what the difference is lately. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm off to get ready for the day....we have our first day of swimming lessons for #1 and #2 today in just a few hours. After that we'll be coming home to build some pretty sweet creations with legos...my son got a ton of them for his birthday and he is obsessed! Tonight we're having friends over for dinner, and then after the kids go to bed I'll be settling in to watch another episode of the most DRAMATIC show on TV...The Bachelorette! =) Also hoping for a sale at Anthro tomorrow...I'd love to get a few of my wish list items crossed off my list so I can stop obsessing over them!

Hope you all have a great day! Stay tuned this week as I'll be celebrating my one year blog anniversary...anyone interested in a giveaway? =)

Mixing it up

I play this little game sometimes where I see how many different brands I can mix when getting dressed in the morning...this was one of those mornings. I am all over the board with this look:

Details:
-Top-Nordstrom (BP)
-Undershirt-DownEast Basics
-White Matchstick Jeans-J Crew Outlet
-Cardigan-Forever 21
-Steve Madden "Cabezza" Sandals-Shoes.com
-Earrings-Stella & Dot
-Necklace-Lisa Leonard Designs
-Ring-Target
-Bracelet-Gap Outlet

Please excuse the blurriness...my photographer was my 5 year old! =)

My car said it was 93 degrees when I was driving home with the kids from the pool today...summer is definitely in full swing! I am still struggling with what to wear on my bottom half to stay cool these next few months as I don't wear anything above my knees and I don't love the way I look in knee-length shorts. I found these cute cropped jeans that I think I may grab to have on hand as an option:

Artist Crop Jean

What do you think? Have you seen any other cute must-have summer-like bottoms anywhere? I'm all for skirts as well but it is soooo windy where I live so some days it's just not convenient to wear a skirt. I'd love to know what you wear to beat the heat!

Not just for Sundays

Just a few years ago I wouldn't have dreamed of wearing a skirt or dress on a weekday...I always thought of my dressier clothes (especially dresses) as only being for church on Sundays. Now, of course, I say dresses and skirts are for all days of the week! I try to mix it up a little each week during the summer...jeans (cropped, white, skinny, etc), skirts, dresses, even leggings once in a while. Today I decided to pull out this cute dress I got from Shabby Apple over 3 years ago...and guess what?! This is the FIRST time I've worn it on a day other than a Sunday! For real! I know, I'm such a rebel and all. =) I loved wearing this knit dress today...it was so comfy and helped me keep cool in the heat.

Details:
-Dress-Shabby Apple
-Steve Madden "Fantasik" Wedge Sandals-Endless
-Necklace-Loft Outlet
-Earrings-Nordstrom
-Ring-Banana Republic
-Bracelet-Stella & Dot

Some people may think wearing a dress in the middle of the week for no particular reason is overdoing it but I happen to love getting all dressed up for no apparent reason so it works for me (now don't think this happens every day...there are days I don't get out of my gym clothes till 4pm...not everyday is a dress up day, I assure you).

I'm off to bed...tomorrow is a big day in our house...#2 turns five years old! When I was tucking him into bed tonight I was telling him that he's going to be five when he wakes up tomorrow morning and he got the biggest smile on his face...so priceless. He's just a little excited!

Have a great day!

Love me some stripes!!!

Hey there! Hope you're all enjoying your Sunday afternoon...I'm relaxing with my hubby and kids. Josh (hubby) made dinner for us today which was a total treat (it's rare that he cooks). It was actually more like "linner" (lunch-dinner=linner) because we ate at like 2pm so I'm sure I'll need a bowl of cereal around 7pm tonight. Now we have the rest of the day to hang out and be a little lazy. I love Sunday afternoons!!

See...stripes 3 out of 4 days somewhere in my outfit...obsessed much? I also had a thing for turquoise and red these past few days I guess! They are the perfect summer colors for summer, don't ya think?

I'm looking forward to this next week...#2 is turning 5 on Tuesday, the last day of school for #1 is on Friday and then we're having #2's birthday party with his friends on Saturday and then going out with my parents for his birthday dinner afterwards that evening. Lots of fun stuff! And did I mention it is suppose to feel like summer all week?? Woo Hoo! Bring it on!

Warm Weather Finally!!! Plus some more F21 shopping and Anthro Sale Scores

Hi all! The week is moving right along...it's already almost Friday! My son turned in his last homework assignment of the year this morning (YAY!!!) so summer vacation is almost here! The past few days have been so gorgeous outside...FINALLY!!! We've been enjoying some much needed sunshine and I even got a little sunburned after being at the park yesterday for a few hours. The nice weather has allowed me to pull out my short sleeves once again, which has been a nice change. Here's what I wore the past 2 days:

Tuesday:

Details:
-Tank-Old Navy
-Cardigan-Gap Outlet
-Skirt-Gap
-Crossroads Belt-Anthropologie
-Presta Wedge Sandals-Target
-Necklace-Fossil
-Earrings-NY & Co.
-Bracelet-Stella & Dot
-Ring-Banana Republic

Wednesday:

Details:
-Pleated Ruffle T-Shirt-Gap
-Tank-Old Navy
-Minnie Crops-J Crew Factory version
-BP "Tee" Sandal-Nordstrom
-Necklace-c/o Wish Design Shop
-Bracelets-Tiffany
-Ring-Banana Republic
-Earrings-Target

So you can see yesterday's picture was taken in a dressing room...since my girlfriend is still here in town visiting from Japan, her, another friend and I decided to take one last little trip to the mall together without kids. We went and searched around Forever 21 for an hour or so after meeting up at Starbucks for a treat(yes, I was just at F21 last week but that store is so big...you always miss something...plus that's where my friend from Japan wanted to go...no F21's in Misawa). I managed to find a few more fun things to bring home...a few striped T's that I can't seem to find online, and another cute top and cardigan. I created this set using the top and cardigan that I think will be cute together:

Forever21 floral top, $23
Gathered skirt, $40
Seychelles pewter sandals, $95
FOSSIL flower necklace, $34
Cara Accessories bangle bracelet, $38
Forever21 sunglasses, $20

So how did everyone feel about this week's Anthro sale? I was overall disappointed yet again (none of my high up wish list items hit sale except a set of bracelets), but did decide to get a few more things regardless. I was also able to get price adjustments on my Linear Landscape Maxi and my First Light Skirt which was nice. I also decided to re-buy the Retro Rose cardigan after it got an additional 25% off (I feel better about that price point) and I re-bought the Bright Future Top with the additional 25% off as well since it's still sitting in my closet with the tag on it. The other things I grabbed up were the Looped Stack cardi (older sale item but at $38 I couldn't pass it up), the Ackee Skirt (which I've been waiting to hit 2nd cuts but with an extra 25% off I bit) and the Strung Palms Bracelets (the set with the turquoise and red bangles). All in all I got some great deals considering all the price adjustments I got so I'm pretty happy. All the PA's and money I saved by re-buying the Bright Future Top just about covered the cost of the Ackee Skirt so that was great!

Today is a day of running around...I took my little boys out to donuts this morning for breakfast to bribe them to be nice while we run all our errands. I have dry cleaning to pick up, gotta stop by the hospital to get something, need to run to Target to pick up a few things, the older boys have Taekwondo tonight...geez...I better get going!

Hope you all have a great day today!

Twas the Night before the big Sale...

Let's hope it's a big sale, right?!!! Bring it on peeps!! I have been (im)patiently been waiting for a few things to hit sale the past few months so I'm holding out hope that maybe those things will be on the marked down list at midnight tonight...and PS, yes, I'll take an extra 25% off all sale items, thank you very much (already excited to get a PA on my First Light Skirt I picked up on sale last Monday)! =)

So what's a girl to do to pass time before the big sale goes live? Watch The Bachelorette, of course! I'm getting ready to settle in for the most dramatic episode EVER (according to the promos). Just thought I'd stop in and show you what I wore today before I do. Today is the LAST day I'm acknowledging bad weather. Tomorrow, it's spring/summer weather or bust. No joke. The sandals are coming out ya'll (that's the hard-core southern talk I picked up from living in TX for 4 years). While running on my treadmill this morning, watching The Today Show, the local weather lady promised me temperatures in the 70's and 80's by mid-week so I'm holding her to it. So here's the LAST cold weather look you'll see from me this season:

Details:
-Sweater-Forever 21
-Long-Sleeve Top-Old Navy
-Skinny Jeans-Banana Republic
-Dollhouse Boots-Endless
-Earrings-J Crew Factory
-Ring-Forever 21

I've worn this look before...I think I wore different boots last time though....and I have longer hair now so it's totally different this time. =)

Will you be sale shopping into the wee hours tonight? Are you hoping for anything in particular to hit sale? Do you get all excited the night before a big Anthro sale like a little kid gets excited on Christmas Eve? Or is that just me? heehee

Happy Shopping!

Weekend Wears and a few good F21 finds

So according to the weather report, today is suppose to be the last day with any rain for a long while. I'm going on strike if someone messes this one up, I tell ya. It's June and I'm still wearing boots and tights. I want some sunshine, people! This weekend was spent mainly indoors because it rained an insane amount. The one good thing that came out of it was that I didn't get out of bed till after 9am on Saturday morning...totally slept in! The dark clouds and raindrops made it easy to keep sleeping and even the kids slept in a little later than normal. Loved every second of that, for sure.

Here's what I wore to keep warm this weekend:

Friday:

Details:
-Tank-DownEast Basics
-Field Game Cardigan-Anthropologie
-Skinny Jeans-Banana Republic
-Boots-Urban Outfitters
-Fossil Necklace-Macy's
-Bracelet-Twisted Silver
-Earrings-Banana Republic

I snapped this in the Forever 21 fitting room. Due to the rain we were stuck doing only indoor activities so I took the kids to the mall to get McD's for lunch and walk around F21 while they ate in the stroller. #3 even fell asleep in his stroller after he ate so it made looking around ALMOST like I had no kids with me at all (#2 was busy playing Angry Birds on the iPhone). While there I found an awesome score...more on that later.

Saturday:

Details:
-Top and Tank-J Crew Factory
-Heritage Chunky Weave Cardigan-Banana Republic
-Ultimate Skinny Jeans-Banana Republic
-Dollhouse Boots-Endless
-Necklace-Forever 21
-Earrings-J Crew Factory

This necklace was the other thing I picked up at F21 on Friday...I love the chunkiness of it and the color! And under $5!!

Sunday:

Details:
-Ruffle Front Top-Loft
-Breezy Polka Cardigan-Anthropologie
-Acting Out Skirt-Anthropologie
-Fish Net Tights-Kohl's
-Slinking Frills Heels-Anthropologie
-Small Open-Circle Necklace-Shabby Apple
-Earrings-Banana Republic
-Ring-Forever 21

So remember the cute Translucent Dolman Tee from Anthro a few months back? I liked it but didn't get it because I wished it didn't have long sleeves...I was interested in either 3/4 length or short sleeves for this type of top at the time. As I was walking around F21 I came across this cute top:

I immedietely thought of the Anthro version when I saw it:

T shirt

T shirt (see more dolman tees)

Here's how it looked on:

I was impressed! It's very lightweight like the Anthro version, but not as sheer. I won't have to wear anything under this which is nice for summer. I really like the color too! It didn't look or feel cheap like some of those F21 items can feel so that was a plus. It was a whopping $13.80 so it definitely didn't break the bank. I walked away with my shirt and necklace for just $20. Not bad for a rainy day activity I suppose.

Here's to a week of sunshine ahead! I hear there is suppose to be a pretty good sale tonight at Anthro...hope the rumor is true. I've got my wish list ready!

Something old, something new, nothing borrowed, but something is blue!!!

Hi everyone! Yay, it's Friday! We're still dealing with overcast, cold, rainy weather here in our part of the country...I'm starting to think summer is never going to come! In the mean time it gives me more opportunity to dig deep into my closet to see what other somewhat cold-weather outfits I can come up with. Here's what I wore yesterday:

Details:
-Top-Anchor Blue (circa 2002)
-Tank-J Crew Outlet
-Cardigan-Banana Republic (2010)
-Ultimate Skinny Jeans-Banana Republic
-Yellow Flats-Target (Spring 2011)
-Earrings-Express
-Necklace-won in Liz's blog giveaway-c/o Wish Design Shop
-Ring-Old (got at a jewelry party)

Check out that blue top...9 years old and I still really like it! I only wear it about once a year though, maybe twice...I really should pull it out more often. I'm thinking it would be cute with a pencil skirt next. And you can't really see it, but I'm wearing my new personalized necklace I won in Liz's giveaway last month.

It's from Wish Design Shop, and let me tell you, Anna, who I worked with to create the necklace, was awesome to work with. She was so nice, super helpful, and responded very quickly to any questions I had. I had this lovely little necklace in my hands within a week of ordering and I love it! I chose the cute rectangle shape pendant and had the word "Love" engraved on it. Then I chose to have three cute little birthstone charms attached to the necklace, each one representing one of my three son's. I am super excited to wear it often, and highly recommend this adorable shop to anyone interested. Take a look at their cute creations! Thanks so much Anna!

Off to get my day started...hope you all have a great Friday!

Girl's Day Loot and end of May OOTD Wrap-Up

Happy first day of June everyone! You wouldn't guess it's the month summer officially begins here in the bay area as we're dealing with cold, rainy weather today. Seriously, cold rain. What the heck? Thankfully it didn't ruin the weekend, or more importantly, our girls day in the city. San Francisco was a blast all over again. We were officially in the city for about 8 hours and only ended up going to 4 stores and lunch. I guess that's what happens when you spend three hours at Anthropologie and almost 2 hours at The Cheesecake Factory for lunch (we just ordered tons of appetizers and called that lunch...it was soooo good! Oh, and Cheesecake for dessert too, of course). The other stores we made it to were the GIANT Banana Republic off Union Square, the HUGE Gap at the Cable Car turn-around at Powell and Market St and of course, the shoe section at Nordstrom. We had a great time and were all beat by the end of the day. I managed to get all my returns made and in turn came home with some fun goodies. Everything that came home with me this time are all keepers, for sure.

Here's what came home with me from Anthropologie:

Judy Tee:

Loosened Shelby Blouse:

First Light Skirt:

I took some pictures for some fitting room reviews so I'll get those up eventually. The four of us ladies fell in love with lots of great things we tried on...all of us came home with a few somethings and added a few more things to our wish lists as well (as usual).

At Banana Republic I tried locating a ring I had seen the weekend before but once again struck out in finding the size I needed (it's sold out online). I ended up locating the ring the next day from a list of stores they gave me to check with. I can't wait to get it in the mail! How cute is this:

I'm still on the lookout for a staple gold ring to wear on my right hand when an outfit calls for it...the two gold colored rings that I have been wearing are both from Forever 21 and are NOT standing the test of time (and no longer fully look gold in color--shocking) so the hunt continues for that.

At Gap I exchanged a pair of workout capris I had previously ordered for a different size and then picked up another workout top (for $11!!):

Fit T-back cami:

gFast Capris:

I love both these capris and the top...I highly recommend them! I grabbed the capris at almost half-off so look for sales before you buy them at full price.

And finally at Nordstrom I found a few pair of shoes I couldn't live without. My friend had grabbed a bunch of shoes off the sale racks and tried them on...these didn't work for her so I tried them on and fell in love. I'm actually in need of new pair of black flat sandals as the pair I have been using the past few years is on it's last leg...the elastic on the buckle has stretched out and my foot won't stay in anymore. These new sandals are now taking their place:

And then there were these cute wedge sandals that I just couldn't part with...another pair of black sandals. I know, I'm so boring! But these are really, REALLY cute! They kind of fall in-between the look of the "date night" black shoes I have and the "casual" black sandals I already own. These will work with Maxi dresses, skirts I want to dress up a little and not be too casual in and can even be worn to dress up a pair of rolled-up jeans. You like how I justified these? It was girl's day...it didn't take much. =)

So that was the damage...but I have no regret about anything I got. I love it all!!

I do have a few OOTD pictures left from May...let's wrap it up shall we:

So did you see Anthro's free shipping (for orders of $150 or more) kicked in again for the summer? Well, only until July 15th...so half of the summer, I guess. There are a handful of things I am DYING to go on sale including THIS and THIS and a few others...please oh please, Anthro Gods...work your sale magic in June!

Hope you are all having a great week so far!!!
